We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Head of Human Resources to lead our HR function across Bon Secours Hospital Dublin and the Group Office. Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working closely with the Hospital CEO and senior leadership team, this is a key strategic leadership role with the opportunity to influence the future of our workforce and organisational culture.
As Head of HR, you will partner with executive and clinical leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that support organisational excellence, employee engagement and exceptional patient care.
You will lead a high-performing HR team, oversee the full employee lifecycle, champion organisational change and ensure best practice across all aspects of human resource management.

Lead the HR strategy across Bon Secours Hospital Dublin and Group Office.

Partner with senior leaders to deliver workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.

Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and a high-performance culture.

Lead organisational change and transformation projects aligned to our strategic plan.

Provide expert guidance on employee relations and Irish employment legislation.

Develop talent, succession planning and leadership capability across the organisation.

Ensure compliance with HR governance, accreditation and regulatory requirements including JCI and HIQA standards.

Work collaboratively with Finance on workforce planning and budget management.

Represent HR as a member of both the Hospital Management Team and Group HR Management Team.
We're looking for an experienced HR leader who brings:

A third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (CIPD qualification desirable).

Significant senior HR leadership experience within a complex organisation.

Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations.

Proven experience leading organisational change and transformation.

Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.

A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach and develop teams.

Strategic thinking combined with strong operational delivery.

Healthcare experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
