Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Salary: €45,000–€50,000

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of vehicles including artic trucks, rigid trucks, vans, and company cars. This role is essential in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain all fleet vehicles to maximise operational efficiency.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance inspections.
- Complete repairs in‑house where possible and coordinate with local garages when needed.
- Work across a variety of vehicles and manage tasks effectively within the job system.
- Provide regular updates and status reports when required.
- Follow all workshop procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and cost‑effective working environment.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Work efficiently and productively at all times.
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully qualified HGV Mechanic or currently in year 3 or 4 of an approved apprenticeship.
- Strong diagnostic skills and good computer literacy.
- Full, clean Class C driver’s licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HazChem qualification (advantageous but not essential).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong initiative and ability to work to tight deadlines.
