The Royal Marine Hotel, renowned for its location overlooking Dublin Bay and its beautifully landscaped gardens, is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our established and supportive kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef to develop their skills in a high-quality, fast-paced hotel kitchen.
Key Responsibilities

Assist senior chefs with the preparation, production, and service of food across all outlets

Prepare, cook, and present dishes on the assigned section to the required standard

Support service delivery for both internal and external guests

Maintain a strong working knowledge of all menus, including breakfast, lunch, table d'hote, and a la carte

Complete and update production sheets accurately on a daily basis

Ensure food is prepared and delivered to the correct area in a timely manner

Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards

Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times

Report any faults with equipment, fixtures, or fittings to the supervising chef and ensure equipment is used correctly
The Ideal Candidate

A genuine interest and passion for food and cooking

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and cleanliness

Ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy kitchen environment

A positive team player with good communication skills

Willingness to learn, develop, and take on feedback

Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Kitchen Assistant is an advantage, but not essential
