Job Summary
New Park Hotel, Athenry, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie (minimum 2 years expierance need)to join our kitchen team. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and managing the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with all kitchen operations.
- Run the kitchen during the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring smooth service.
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes to a consistent standard.
- Monitor stock, manage inventory, and communicate with suppliers.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.
- Supervise junior staff and support their development.
- Contribute to menu planning and daily specials.
- Ensure portion control and reduce food waste.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and evenings.
