Receptionist / Administrator - Full Time Location: Midleton, Co. Cork
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join our team at Safety Tech Fire, based in Midleton, Co. Cork.
This is a busy and varied office-based role within Safety Tech Fire, involving day-to-day administration, customer communication and general office support. Full training will be provided on internal systems and procedures; however, we are looking for someone with strong administrative and computer skills who is confident managing their own workload and working independently in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and responding to incoming emails
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and assisting with customer queries
- Carrying out general administration using our CRM system
- Creating, issuing and following up on sales quotations
- Preparing and issuing service agreements to customers
- Creating and issuing fire safety certificates
- Preparing company documentation
- Maintaining accurate customer and job information
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
Skills & Experience:
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, receptionist or similar office-based role
- Strong computer skills and confidence carrying out everyday PC-based tasks independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and with using Google Workspace (G Suite), including Gmail, Google Docs and Google Sheets
- Previous experience dealing with customers over the phone
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritise their own workload
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- A proactive approach to their work and the ability to use their own initiative
Experience within the fire safety industry is not required, as training will be provided on our services, systems and internal procedures.
This position would suit someone who is comfortable working in a busy office, enjoys a varied workload and is confident taking ownership of their day-to-day responsibilities.
Salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s previous experience.
