Semi Skilled Labourer – Residential Construction (Full-Time)

Salary: €20–€22 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00am–5:00pm Monday–Thursday; 8:00am–4:00pm Friday

Role Overview
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid construction site experience who can assist across multiple stages of residential building projects. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople and supervisors, contributing to site progress while developing your skills further.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hard-working, and able to follow instructions while also using initiative when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks including demolition, framing support, insulation, basic carpentry, and finishing work
- Support skilled tradespeople across various stages of residential builds and renovations
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Safely use hand tools and basic power tools
- Load, unload, and move materials as required
- Follow site safety procedures and company standards at all times
- Assist with site preparation, setup, and daily cleanup
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience working on construction sites
- Basic knowledge of residential construction processes
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Safe Pass certification
- Manual Handling certification
- Own basic tools preferred but not essential
- Reliable transport to travel to job sites
- Good level of spoken English
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
Desirable Skills
- Experience assisting carpenters or other trades
- Basic carpentry, framing, or finishing experience
- Experience with renovations or extensions
- Ability to operate basic construction equipment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
