Job Summary
A Kitchen Porter and Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the kitchen and food preparation areas. The role supports kitchen staff by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean, safe, and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Porter Duties
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations and food preparation areas.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries.
- Remove waste and recycling from kitchen areas.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials as required.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Cleaning Duties
- Sweep, mop, and clean floors throughout the kitchen and designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, walls, doors, and equipment.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
- Clean washrooms, staff areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or kitchen environment is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

Working Hours

Pay: €15.00-€16.00 per hour
