We’re rolling into Dublin — and we’re looking for our crew!
Maki Poké is a fresh new food concept bringing together the best of Japanese and Hawaiian inspired food, with handcrafted sushi rolls, poké bowls, fresh ingredients and seriously good house made sauces.
We’re looking for a Sushi & Poké Crew Member to join our team and help us make every roll, bowl and customer experience a great one.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of the team bringing Maki Poké to life, including:
- Preparing fresh ingredients for sushi, poké and other menu items
- Preparing sushi rice, vegetables, sauces and other ingredients
- Assembling sushi rolls and poké bowls to our recipes and standards
- Serving customers and creating a friendly, welcoming experience
- Taking orders and operating the POS system
- Keeping the kitchen and service areas clean, organised and food-safe
- Following HACCP, food safety and hygiene procedures
- Helping with stock rotation, deliveries and general kitchen duties
- Working as part of a fast paced, positive team
What we’re looking for
Food experience is essential, but you don’t need to be a sushi expert — we’ll teach you our way of doing things.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in food, hospitality, a café, restaurant or similar environment
- Takes pride in great customer service
- Is friendly, energetic and comfortable working with people
- Has a genuine interest in food
- Works well under pressure and as part of a team
- Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in presentation
- Understands the importance of cleanliness and food safety
- Is reliable, punctual and ready to get stuck in
- Is willing to learn and develop new skills
No sushi experience? No problem.
We’ll provide full training on our menu, sushi rolling, poké preparation, food safety and everything else you need to know.

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
