Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall day-to-day operation of the supermarket

Drive sales, profitability and commercial performance across all departments

Deliver exceptional customer service standards throughout the store

Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing management and colleague tea

Ensure excellence in merchandising, store presentation and operational standards

Manage labour budgets, productivity and overall store costs

Monitor and drive performance across all key retail KPIs

Ensure stock control, availability and inventory management processes are maintained

Drive fresh food, grocery and promotional performance across the business

Lead recruitment, onboarding and succession planning initiatives

Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety and food safety requirements

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
About You:

Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supermarket Manager or Senior Retail Manager

Strong leadership and people management skills

Proven track record of delivering commercial and operational results

Experience managing large teams within a fast-paced retail environment

Strong understanding of supermarket operations, fresh food and customer service

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Commercially focused with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
