Salary: 40,000 euros starting
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Petrol Station Senior Manager to oversee the daily running of our forecourt and convenience store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring stock availability, driving sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the petrol station and shop.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to ensure excellent performance.
- Prepare staff rotas and provide flexible cover when required.
- Ensure the site is fully stocked, clean, safe, and compliant.
- Monitor sales, cash handling, stock control procedures, placing orders as required.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Recruit, train, and support team members.
- Ensure all company policies, health and safety, and fuel regulations are followed.
- Drive shop sales and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- 3 years Previous management experience in a petrol station, convenience store, retail, or similar environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and retail management systems.
- Proven ability to manage staff and shop operations effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Own transport and ability to travel to the site reliably.
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to provide cover when needed, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in stock control, cash management, and customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- HACCP proficient & up to date
