Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding culinary experiences and maintaining the high standards of food quality and presentation that our guests expect. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the Skellig Hotel menu and seasonal specials.
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards.
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with kitchen management and food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to menu development and innovation while maintaining cost control and reducing waste.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-quality kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A passion for food and cooking with a focus on high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate strong leadership when necessary.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the business.
