With 91 bedrooms, stunning bay views, and a strong reputation for warm hospitality and excellent dining, we are now seeking an experienced and professional Restaurant Supervisor to support and lead daily food & beverage operations.
Our hotel offers two popular dining outlets — The Pottery Restaurant and The Ferrybank Lounge — along with the Bay Health & Leisure Club, making it a vibrant destination for guests, locals, and visitors alike.
The Role
We are looking for a mature, confident, and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor who can lead by example, support the management team, and ensure every guest receives attentive, efficient, and friendly service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong floor experience who takes pride in high standards, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hotel F&B supervisory role
- A professional, calm, and confident approach
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Solid understanding of service standards, etiquette, and operations
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods
- A polished and professional presentation
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and service flow
- Support and guide staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Ensure tables, service stations, and dining areas are prepared to standard
- Handle guest queries, requests, and feedback professionally
- Assist with staff training and development
- Monitor service quality and cleanliness standards
- Liaise with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service
- Maintain stock levels, equipment care, and service supplies
- Lead shifts confidently in the absence of senior management
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-focused working environment
