Working with SMEs and larger organisations across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, we combine environmental and energy management expertise with a commercial, solutions-focused approach. We are now looking for a Business Development and Digital Marketing Manager to help grow our revenue, partnerships, market visibility and digital presence.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused and creative individual who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and turning marketing activity into measurable results. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will combine strategic business development with hands-on digital marketing delivery.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a business development and revenue-growth strategy

- Planning content calendars and creating engaging written and visual content
- Using search engine optimisation, paid advertising, social media, email automation and lead-generation techniques
- Monitoring campaign performance using analytics and producing clear reports for senior management
- Managing agreed marketing budgets and coordinating external agencies, freelancers or suppliers
- Ensuring consistent brand positioning and messaging across all channels
- Working closely with leadership and internal teams to connect marketing activity with business, client and environmental-impact objectives
- Supporting events, campaigns, service launches, partnership activations and fundraising initiatives, where relevant
- Maintaining accurate customer relationship management records, pipeline updates and sales forecasts
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least two years’ relevant experience in business development, sales, partnerships, marketing, account management or a similar role
- Has demonstrated experience generating leads, developing partnerships and contributing to revenue growth
- Has practical knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, social media, email marketing, search engine optimisation, paid media and analytics

- Has excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Can create clear and persuasive proposals, presentations and marketing content
- Is highly organised and confident managing several priorities independently
- Has a commercial mindset and is comfortable working towards measurable revenue and marketing targets
- Enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and working collaboratively with others
- Has a genuine interest in sustainability, environmental improvement and responsible business
- Is based within a reasonable commuting distance of Carrick-on-Shannon or can meet the agreed working arrangements
You do not need to have used every platform listed above or followed one particular career path. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable experience who can demonstrate the skills, commercial judgement and motivation needed to succeed in the role.
It would be an advantage if you:
- Have experience in sustainability, environmental services, energy management, green technology or corporate social responsibility
- Have worked with SMEs, large businesses or public-sector organisations

- Have experience with tenders, public procurement, grant applications, sponsorship or fundraising
- Have worked in a growing SME or another environment where initiative and adaptability are important
If you are commercially ambitious, digitally capable and motivated by the opportunity to help organisations improve their environmental performance, we would love to hear from you.
