Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated Level 6 Early Years Educator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract from January to June.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Aistear and Síolta frameworks.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports each child's individual development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Ensure all policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, and Tusla regulations are followed.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality early years education.
- Promote positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional wellbeing.
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and outdoor play.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum QQI Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (or recognised equivalent).
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and Tusla's Quality and Regulatory Framework.
- Current Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain).
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable
- Previous experience working in an ECCE preschool setting.
- Up-to-date First Aid and Children First training.
