Business Development Manager - Beauty Brands
Location: North Midlands
Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on driving growth across both lifestyle and premium beauty brands within pharmacy and department store channels across North Midlands and surrounding counties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong commercial relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, securing key display space, and ensuring our brands are presented to the highest standard in-store. A strong understanding of the beauty market, brand positioning and retail execution will be essential to maximise visibility, availability and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy and department store management and staff.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the assigned territory.
Drive sales growth by achieving defined targets and KPIs through effective territory management.
Secure key display space and ensure all brand merchandising is executed to a high standard.
Implement promotional campaigns and in-store initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Conduct regular store visits to review brand performance, product availability, display standards and growth opportunities.
Build strong knowledge of all lifestyle and premium beauty brands within the portfolio, ensuring the right brand message is delivered in-store.
Provide training and support to pharmacy and retail staff on product knowledge, brand positioning and selling techniques.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts and updates for management review.
Qualifications:
Experience securing display space, driving in-store visibility and delivering commercial growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, engage and motivate others.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Commercially focused, target-driven and comfortable working independently in the field.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel frequently within the designated area.
