THE ROLE
As Assistant Manager, you're the General Manager'sright hand and you run the venue when they're not in it. The team onshift, the customer experience, the cash, the standards yours to hold. Youreport to the General Manager, with a group behind you that knows this businessinside out.
Hours: Rotating schedulewithin operating hours, including evenings and weekends.
WHAT WECARE ABOUT
- You can lead a team on the floor. Set the pace, give feedback, and get the same standard out of people whether the manager is in or not.
- You've handled money. Cash-heavy operations, daily takings, variances accurate under pressure.
- You set the standard for customer service and your shift holds it without being asked twice.
- You keep the place right. Presentation, cleanliness, atmosphere you notice the details.
- You step up when it matters. Difficult customers, short staffing, something breaking you deal with it, then tell the GM.
WHO ITSUITS
An experienced assistant manager or supervisor fromretail or hospitality. You might be an assistant manager in a bookmakers, aphone shop, a cinema, a family entertainment centre, a gym, a hotel orrestaurant, or a busy store right now the setting is different here, but thejob is the same. We're a retail business: we trade seven days a week includingevenings and weekends, and we'll expect you leading from the floor for yourshare of them. At least 2 years supervising or leading a team. No gaming experienceneeded we'll teach you the industry.
