About Us
Curtains Direct is a well-established, nationwide business specialising in bespoke curtains, blinds, and interiors. Alongside this, Whitethorn Interiors is a growing brand with exciting plans for expansion.
We’re now looking to bring in a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to support our Marketing Manager and help drive both brands forward.
The Role
This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the day-to-day marketing activity of the business. You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Social Media Manager, assisting with content, customer engagement, and digital platforms.
This role is ideal for someone creative, organised, and comfortable working across multiple areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Help brainstorm and develop new content ideas
- Manage and respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and social channels
- Support with Canva content creation (posts, graphics, campaigns)
- Assist with website updates (WordPress) – training provided
- General support across marketing campaigns and promotions
- Work collaboratively with the team on building the Whitethorn Interiors brand
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable dealing with customers via phone and email
- Interest in social media and content creation
- Tech savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Creative, organised, and proactive
- Keen to learn and grow within the role
Confident using:
- Instagram, Facebook (TikTok a bonus)
- Canva
- Google Docs & Sheets / Microsoft Office

Pay: €27,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
