Location: South Dublin (Fully Onsite - with potential for hybrid working after successful completion of probationary period)
Hours: 35.5 hours per week

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a professional services firm in South Dublin. The role sits within a busy payroll bureau providing end-to-end payroll services to a diverse client portfolio across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of bureau clients

Ensure accurate calculation of wages, salaries, overtime, statutory payments, and deductions

Maintain payroll records including new hires, leavers, and employee changes

Ensure full compliance with Irish Revenue requirements (PAYE Modernisation)

Prepare and submit payroll-related filings and statutory returns

Respond to client and employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner

Reconcile payroll outputs, resolve discrepancies, and support audit requirements

Produce tailored payroll reports in line with client requirements

Work closely with senior payroll and tax teams to ensure compliance and quality standards
Requirements

Proven experience in a payroll bureau environment (essential)

Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and PAYE Modernisation

IPASS qualification (essential or actively working towards completion)

Experience with payroll software (e.g. Sage Payroll or similar) and strong Excel skills

High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
