Purpose of the role:
To assist in the smooth running of the nursing home floor, ensuring regulatory compliance and resident health and safety are maintained.
General Overview of Responsibilities:

Working with DON & ADON to manage the nursing home safely.

Running the nursing home floor when on duty.

Escalating resident care when appropriate and to the relevant MDT member or HSE service.

Maintaining resident care planning.

Assisting staff nurses and HCAs with resident care when needed.

Overseeing medication management.
-
Participating in meetings and taking actions/next steps in quality improvement
Requirements:

Valid NMBI pin.
-
Clear Garda Vetting disclosure.
-
Experience in an Irish nursing home setting.
-
5 years of nursing experience, 3 of which are in Ireland.
Desired (but not essential):
-
Post-graduate qualification in Gerontology, healthcare management or IPC.
