Beaches Restaurant Station Waiter/Waitress
Main Purpose of the Role
Beaches Restaurant is the hotel's main dining room, serving breakfast and dinner daily to all hotel guests. As all of our guest packages include both breakfast and dinner, we pride ourselves on delivering a consistently high standard of food and service.
This role involves working split shifts, covering both breakfast and dinner service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our fast-paced team. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent food and beverage knowledge, strong attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Deliver a warm, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
- Be the main point of contact for your assigned station, typically consisting of 6–7 tables.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, attentive, and personalised service throughout their dining experience.
- Respond efficiently to guest requests and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus to confidently answer guest queries and make recommendations.
Teamwork
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist other team members when required to maintain the highest standards of service.
- Contribute to creating a positive and supportive team environment.
Restaurant Operations
- Prepare your station before each service to ensure it is fully set and ready for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the restaurant during service.
- Assist with the daily cleaning duties of Beaches Restaurant, ensuring all areas are maintained to the hotel's high standards.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures relating to service, hygiene, and safety.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Have an understanding of HACCP principles and food safety procedures.
- Ensure all food hygiene and health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Participate in any additional HACCP or food safety training provided by the hotel.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a waiter/waitress or food and beverage role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Flexibility to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures is desirable (training will be provided if necessary).

Pay: €14.15-€16.00 per hour
