Role Overview
Dunleavy Meats are looking to hire a number of Meat Processing Operatives to join their team on a full time or part time basis 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday). The successful candidates will work as part of the boning hall or abattoir team. All employees must adhere to strict food safety standards as well as strict Health and Safety procedures.
Role Responsibilities
- Cross train in a number of positions on the line
- Perform daily visual inspections and quality checks
- Operate machiney, saws and other equipment once trained
- Report any issues with the machines or equipment to the maintenance team
- Operate all machinery and equipment as per the SOP
- Clean down the machines and your work area at the end of every shift
- Any other duties that may arise from time to time
Role Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a meat processing factory, desirable
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving lifting and standing
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Excellent work ethic
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
