Cpl Healthcare is seeking multiple Clinical Nurse Managers 1 & 2 to join a variety of nursing homes across Ireland. You will help lead the team, support residents to live well, and drive high standards of care in line with HIQA requirements.
This is a great opportunity for a strong Senior Staff Nurse or experienced CNM to make a real impact in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement change, with particular focus on HIQA standards and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership, innovation and creativity in your work with staff and residents.
- Carry out and oversee audits across all aspects of nursing care, including medication management and error reviews, while completing daily spot checks of staff checklists such as shower and linen routines, restraint release, falls equipment, and other required checks.
- Receive, supervise and oversee the admission and onboarding of new residents.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to meet residents’ physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs, in partnership with residents and in line with best practice.
- Support and supervise nursing and care staff, including orienting new staff, providing training and development, coordinating duties and shift allocation, and guiding, motivating, and evaluating performance.
- Play a central role in maintaining a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Take an active role in daily handovers and ensure excellent communication across the team.
- Coordinate the shift, ensuring safe and appropriate delegation of tasks to nursing and care staff.
- Step up as Person in Charge when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Nursing experience: Minimum 2 years’ nursing home experience in Ireland and at least 5 years’ overall nursing experience.
- Management experience: CNM1: SSN or CNM experience preferred. Strong Senior Staff Nurses ready to step up are encouraged to apply. CNM2: CNM experience required.
- Communication skills: High level of English.
- Speciality interest: Interest in a relevant area of nursing with courses undertaken (e.g., gerontology, infection control, dementia care).
Salary & Benefits

- Salary: €45,000 – €65,000 (dependent on employer and experience)
- Annual leave: 5 weeks
