Job Summary
Om Jai Maa Restaurant Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development & Operational Compliance Manager to support business growth, operational performance, quality management, and compliance activities across its hospitality and catering operations. The successful candidate will support business development, customer relationship management, operational improvement, staff training, food safety compliance, and SOP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities to support revenue growth and market expansion.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, corporate clients, and business partners.
Support sales, marketing, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational controls.
Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with HACCP requirements, food safety regulations, hygiene standards, workplace safety requirements, and company procedures.
Maintain compliance records, quality documentation, training records, and corrective action plans.
Support audit preparation, compliance reviews, and implementation of corrective actions.
Coordinate staff onboarding, training, and development activities.
Deliver training on operational procedures, food safety requirements, and customer service standards.
Assist with inventory control, supplier liaison, procurement activities, and operational planning.
Prepare operational and performance reports for management review.
Support future business growth, expansion projects, and operational development initiatives.
Provide operational, training, SOP implementation, and process improvement support to associated hospitality businesses where required.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality operations, business development, operational compliance, quality management, customer relationship management, or a food-regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, food safety regulations, workplace safety requirements, and hygiene standards.
Experience in SOP implementation, process improvement, compliance management, staff training, and operational reporting.
Strong communication, organisational, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Qualifications
4+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Quality Management, Marketing, or a related discipline (Or) Master's Degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field is highly desirable.
Candidates with a quality, compliance, food safety, or regulated industry background are preferred.
HACCP, Food Safety, Chemical Safety, Workplace Safety, Manual Handling, or related certifications are desirable.
Full clean driving licence preferred.
Pay: €39,000.00 per year
