Head Yard Assistant & Basic Riding Instructor
Are you passionate about horses and looking for a rewarding full time role? Pony Tales Stables, a busy riding school and livery yard in Killarney, Ireland, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Yard Assistant to join our team!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Feeding horses and ensuring their well-being.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the stables and yard.
- Grooming and exercising horses if required , as well as preparing them for lessons.
- Assisting with client check-ins, handling payments, and preparing both riders and horses for lessons.
- Supporting therapeutic riding lessons .
- Helping with seasonal camps and our weekly Pony Club.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passionate horse lover with experience in stable management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly, professional attitude when interacting with clients.
