Cill Dara Housing Association CLG is seeking to recruit a Development Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of the Association’s ambitious housing development and growth programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven Approved Housing Body at a significant stage in its organisational development.
Following the recent approval of the Association’s Growth Strategy, the successful candidate will play a key role in progressing new housing opportunities, strengthening development capacity and supporting the delivery of sustainable growth across County Kildare and surrounding counties.
The initial focus of the role will be on building and progressing a sustainable pipeline of turnkey, Part V and acquisition opportunities supported through CALF/P&A arrangements.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Property and Development Committee, Board, staff teams and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will proactively identify, cultivate and manage relationships with developers, landowners, agents and sector stakeholders to develop and maintain a sustainable housing delivery pipeline aligned to the Association’s strategic objectives.
The Development Manager will lead and manage the sourcing and progression of acquisition and development opportunities from initial engagement and appraisal through to approval, acquisition and operational handover, ensuring agreed programme milestones, delivery targets and organisational KPIs are achieved.
The successful candidate will also prepare regular reports and updates for the Property and Development Committee and Board, ensuring that project progress, pipeline performance, risks, financial implications, governance considerations and delivery targets are clearly monitored and reported.
The role represents an opportunity to shape and build the Association’s long-term development pipeline and delivery capability.
The role will operate as an integrated part of the wider organisation and the successful candidate will work collaboratively with Cill Dara Housing Association’s housing, asset management and finance teams to ensure development activity is aligned with operational requirements, long-term asset sustainability and organisational capacity.
