We are currently partnering with a prestigious 5-star resort in Leinster to recruit a Director of MICE Sales. This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven sales leader to take ownership of a high-performing segment within a luxury property renowned for exceptional service, world-class facilities, and a strong reputation in the corporate and events market.
The Role
As Director of MICE Sales, you will lead the strategic development and execution of the resort’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events (MICE) sales strategy. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening key corporate relationships, and positioning the resort as a leading destination for high-end events both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a proactive MICE sales strategy aligned with overall commercial goals
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, agency, and international markets
- Manage and grow key accounts while building long-term strategic partnerships
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated sales team to achieve and exceed targets
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Represent the resort at trade shows, networking events, and international sales missions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to inform strategy
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven track record in senior MICE or corporate sales within a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
- Established network within corporate and agency segments (Ireland, UK, and ideally international markets)
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver measurable results
- Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional client experiences
