Carleton Cakes are currently recruiting new staff for our bakery based in Cootehill, Co. Cavan to help us during our busy Christmas period.
The role involves working as cover in our production, packing and decorating departments, focusing on attention to detail while producing high-quality products. This role involves using specialised equipment and ensuring that the highest standards are attained across the board.
We are seeking individuals who work well in a team, preferably with previous experience in food manufacturing and are able to thrive under pressure in a fast-moving production environment. The successful candidate will be flexible and available to work with different teams across changing shift patterns.
Requirements:
- Must have own transport and can travel independently (essential)
- Must be able to work all shift patterns listed below
- Must have a good standard of English language.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate essential
- Must be over 18
Shift Patterns:
- 6am - 2pm
- 2pm - finish
- 8am - 5pm
- 16 week contract (until Christmas 2026)
Attractive time & attendance bonuses are offered weekly.
Job Type: Fixed term
Pay: €14.15-€14.90 per hour
