Our client, a leading home furnishing retailer is seeking a Sales Consultant to join their team based in Castlebar, County Mayo. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys face to face interactions with customers and building long-term relationships with a regular client base. It involves working 5 days between Monday to Saturday on a base plus commission basis onsite in Castlebar town centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be actively involved in the day to day smooth running of a quality Home Furnishings Store
- Meet & Greet potential clients with friendliness, warmness and willingness to help
- Treat all potential clients with dignity & respect
- To ascertain customer needs & to offer solutions from our collections
- To close sales in a timely fashion
- Follow all Health & Safety instructions
- To be the first contact to deal with client issue
Experience Required:
- Previous proven track record in a similar position is desired
- A sales mindset that is coupled with a passion for people
- Experience in a customer facing position is required
- A energetic and positive attitude and a genuine passion for dealing with people
