Stepping Stones Care Ltd, was established in 2008 we provide residential care to children and Adults with ID and Autism.
Job Title: Health Care Assistant
Status: Permanent, Full Time Contract
Location: Curracloe, Co.Wexford
Duties
- Sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
- Ensure compliance with record keeping is in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.
- Work directly with individuals and completing administrative tasks relating to the day-to-day running of the house.
- Be highly organised, have excellent report writing and IT and time management skills.
- The capacity to plan and manage resources in an effective and resourceful manner.
- Flexibility and openness to change
Our ideal candidate
- FETAC/QQI level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support/Health Service Skills, or equivalent.
- Three year’s experience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
- Applicants must have relevant experience in a Team Leader role or similar.
- Experience in a HIQA regulation environment and supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities
- Natural Leadership qualities and excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards.
- Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development
- Full Clean Driving License is required
