Full time Van Delivery Driver in a well-established Electrical Wholesaler based in Dublin.8 (future company expansion). The role involves collecting and delivering electrical supplies to customers and company locations, ensuring all orders are loaded, transported, and unloaded safely and accurately. Day-to-day tasks include checking delivery notes, performing basic vehicle safety checks, maintaining a clean and organized van, and handling goods with care. The Van Driver will interact with customers in a professional manner, assist with basic warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders when required, and coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to meet delivery schedules. The role requires adherence to road safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
*Although primarily a driving job, some days will require Trade Counter assistance.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing of orders, planning, and organising deliveries and collections
- Consult with a wide range of customers, from Tradespeople to Retail Customers.
- Stock Management, replenishment & sourcing new products
- Work as part of team and ensuring the company’s standards are delivered.
Experience/Skills Required
- Valid, clean (Manual) driving license suitable for van driving and a strong awareness of road safety regulations.
- Experience in delivery driving, courier work, or similar logistics roles, ideally within a wholesale or trade environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally on deliveries.
- Basic physical fitness and the ability to safely lift, carry, and move electrical products and materials.
- Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail in checking orders and delivery documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Dublin 8, collaborate with warehouse and sales teams, and follow established procedures.
- Familiarity with the Dublin area and surrounding routes is beneficial;
- Prior experience in electrical or construction supply is an advantage.

Pay: €18.00-€20.00 per hour
