We are seeking a friendly and motivated part-time Furniture Sales Assistant to join our team in Letterkenny. This is a fixed-term role working 3 days per week, running until the end of September.
About the role:
As a Furniture Sales Assistant, you will help customers find the right furniture for their homes, provide product knowledge and advice, and deliver excellent customer service on the shop floor. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming shopping experience and helping to drive sales.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable furniture
- Provide accurate product information on ranges, materials, delivery and pricing
- Process sales and handle customer enquiries in a professional manner
- Keep the showroom tidy, well-presented and stocked
- Support with stock management and displays
- Meet individual and team sales targets
What we are looking for:
- Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage, though not essential
- A warm, approachable manner and strong customer service skills
- Good communication and the ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, well-organised and enthusiastic
- Availability to work 3 days per week, including some weekends
Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week (3 days). Fixed-term contract until 30 September.
