Summary of Role
The Accounts Receivable Assistant (ARA) will be required to operate within a busy credit control department and will take responsibility for day-to-day credit control functions as well as supporting the team in ledger and patient data functions.
For the purpose of this project assignment, duties will be focused on a number of specific tasks.
The ARA is a key point of contact for all SIMS patients/clients and as such acts as an ambassador for the SIMS Group. The role holder will report to the European Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Contact patients in line with company credit control policy to ensure patient payments are received in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with Patient Administration team on Thaw & Demise project
- Ledger management
- Fortnightly update meeting with Finance to agree weekly cash collection targets and provide updates, highlight potential issues.
- Update notes / comments on Clinic Patient Database (Ideas)
- Handle patient related queries
Banks
- Enter lodgements in Sage.
- Daily reconciliation of lodgments and receipts
- Processing card payments
- Reconcile receipts posted to Sage/Clinic Patient Database

Essential Criteria
- Previous relevant work experience in similar role
- Strong Interpersonal skill
- Patient and Approachable due to the nature of the situation
- Fluent in English language –written and oral
- Excellent Communication

- Experience in private healthcare / IVF setting

- Leaving Certificate or equivalent

Terms and Conditions of Employment

- Salary From €30,000 - €35,000 pa. depending on experience
