We are seeking a dependable and motivated Catering Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service. This role is vital in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety while providing a positive experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies across dining and kitchen areas
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Monitor stock levels, carry out daily checks, and rotate stock using FIFO
- Record deliveries and keep receipts and invoices well organised
- Prepare and restock items in resident kitchen areas and assist during mealtimes
- Monitor and log temperatures of fridges, freezers, and storage units
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and adhere to HACCP guidelines
- Support residents in the kitchen hub and assist with weekly cooking rosters
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Flexibility required, including availability for weekend shifts
Pay: €14.60 per hour
