We are looking for a banksman/slinger to join our team. This role suits apprentices, or anyone with a genuine interest in slinging, signalling, and banking a crane who is keen to learn and progress.
For the right person, this is more than just a job. We have a clear system in place to bring you up through the ranks and, in time, train you into a crane operating role if that’s the path you want to take. Must have a slinger/signaller ticket and safe pass.
Some experience around machinery is an advantage, as the role carries a good deal of responsibility and a strong safety awareness is essential. A positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality are just as important as experience. Early starts come with the role.

Successful candidates who prove themselves in the role can expect certain perks to become available over time, such as a company van, fuel card, and other benefits.
The position follows a probationary period of up to six months, with your progress reviewed throughout. Those who complete the six months are very likely to be offered a permanent, full-time role, and strong performers may progress sooner. Equally, anyone not meeting the required standard may have their position ended at short notice.
