Arcadis DPS Engineering are a seeking a Process Engineer (Pressure Relief) for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Kinsale. This is initially a 12-month contract with high potential of extension.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the site pressure relief owner to deliver the emergency pressure relief remediation program.
- Act as the user representative for the PRD (Pressure Relief Device) remediation project, coordinating the onsite team and building engineering functions.
- Administer the site-based PRD team, including onboarding new members and managing training assignments.
- Approve externally generated PRD contingencies and calculations at the site level.
- Coordinate with building engineering functions to deliver and track completion of remedial tasks.
- Support new capital projects by coordinating PRD project delivery tasks, including training project engineers and managing PRD contingencies and calculations through the design process.
- Liaise with area/rig/project engineers to deliver a comprehensive PRD program for the Kinsale site.
- Participate in all phases of capital project delivery, from conceptual design through to facility startup, and provide surge support to the broader engineering team as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pressure relief systems and/or capital project delivery, including conceptual and equipment/process design.
- Proven experience in process safety and quality compliance within API manufacturing and project environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong communication and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and make effective decisions in a timely manner.
