Full-time Chartered Physiotherapist – Musculoskeletal Role (Part-time considered for the right candidate)
We are seeking a Chartered Physiotherapist to join our busy, well-established and supportive private practice team in Penrose Wharf, Cork. Our clinic is centrally located with excellent access to the city centre, transport links, and the vibrant amenities that make Cork such an enjoyable place to live and work.
Function Physiotherapy has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality, patient-centred care. We work closely with local GPs, consultants, sports clubs, and community organisations, resulting in a consistent and varied caseload.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist who enjoys musculoskeletal practice, values autonomy, and thrives in a collaborative, friendly environment. While private practice experience is preferred, we are very open to considering a motivated new graduate with strong clinical potential.
The Role
The successful candidate will work with a diverse caseload including:
- Musculoskeletal injuries
- Sports injuries
- Orthopaedic rehabilitation
- Persistent pain presentations
- Exercisebased rehabilitation
The role includes:
- Room-based musculoskeletal physiotherapy consultations
- Working alongside experienced Chartered Physiotherapists

Requirements
Essential
- Applicants must hold current eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered
- CORU registered Physiotherapist
- Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high quality, evidence-based care
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Private practice experience
- Experience with sports teams or athletic populations

Pay: €50,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
