- Join One of Ireland’s Leading Solar Energy Companies Sun Arc Solar Systems Ltd is seeking motivated and enthusiastic 2nd Year, 3rd Year and 4th Year Apprentice Electricians to join our growing team based in Carlow. This is an excellent opportunity for apprentices who want to continue developing their electrical career within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector, while gaining extensive hands-on experience across both domestic and commercial Solar PV installations. Working alongside our experienced electricians and project teams, you will receive ongoing training, support and practical experience while progressing through your electrical apprenticeship.
- Assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties.
- Work alongside qualified electricians carrying out electrical installation works. Install containment, cabling, inverters, battery storage systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Assist with electrical testing, commissioning and fault finding under supervision.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current Irish electrical regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, site safety and customer service. Travel to installation sites throughout Ireland as required.
What We’re Looking For 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice or above.
- Currently registered and progressing through an electrical apprenticeship in Ireland. Previous practical electrical installation experience.
- A genuine interest in Solar PV, battery storage and renewable energy technology. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual and professional attitude. Full clean driving licence preferred.
