Career Vision Recruiters is seeking to recruit a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in a busy venue that has a good passing tourist trade in Dublin City . You will have overall responsibility of the kitchen and its team to ensure that food maintains the highest quality consistently. There is an excellent salary of €65K per year along with an €8k bonus paid quarterly based on KPI's.
Your duties will include:
- Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.
- A hands on approach to leading the kitchen and the team
- Excellent understanding of GPs, food costing
- Excellent HACCP & Hygiene
- Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders.
- Creating new dishes and menus.
- Team rosters
- Interviewing, hiring & training new staff.
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
- Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
- Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
You will need to have the following:
- Excellent culinary background required
- Have excellent HACCP & hygiene awareness
- Be able to work under pressure whilst also producing excellent cuisine
- Confident working on your own initiative and also part of a successful team
