We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner to join our team at a shopping centre in Lucan. This role is ideal for someone reliable, detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a public environment.
Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.

Location: Lucan, Newcastle Rd, Finnstown, Lucan, Co. Dublin
Hours: 20-30 hours per week + adhoc covers
Shift start times vary by pattern.
6:00am - 1pm (morning)
12:00 - 9pm (evening)
weekends until 8pm.
Shift pattern may vary.
Rate of pay: €14.80 per hour - In line with ERO rates.
Candidates must be flexible and available to provide cover when required.
Employees are required to use a clock in/out mobile application daily to confirm attendance (Android or iOS).
Job Role / Overview
Tasks focus on general cleanliness and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Opening of the centre: front doors, shutters/barriers, turning on escalators.Cleaning and maintaining public areas within the shopping centre
Cleaning and sanitising restrooms and washroom facilities
Cleaning common areas, corridors and entrances
Operating a floor scrubber machine to maintain floor standards
Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
Cleaning car park areas
Ensuring all areas remain clean, safe and presentable for visitors
Reporting any defects or maintenance issues within the site
Following all health and safety procedures and safe systems of work
Using appropriate PPE at all times
Reporting faults related to cleaning machinery or equipment
Carrying out any reasonable duties requested by supervisors or management
Skills and Experience
Previous cleaning experience is an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Candidate must be able to communicate in English
Reliable, punctual and well-presented
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
Must be eligible to work in Ireland
