Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organised and proactive Administration, Payroll & Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll administration, answering telephone enquiries, processing purchase orders and providing general administrative support.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills and responsibilities over time, particularly with the implementation of a new Purchase Order (PO) system and progression into a broader Accounts Assistant role.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Prepare and process weekly payroll information.
- Maintain employee records and timesheets.
- Assist with payroll queries and reporting.
- Ensure payroll records are accurate and up to date.
Telephone & Office Administration
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Direct calls and take messages as required.
- Assist customers and suppliers with general enquiries.
- Maintain filing systems and office records.
- General administrative support duties.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and delivery documentation.
- Assist in the rollout and ongoing management of the company's new Purchase Order system.
- Provide administrative support and assistance to the finance department.
Development Opportunity
This position is designed to develop over time as the business grows. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation and administration of the new Purchase Order system and will have the opportunity to progress into a more comprehensive Accounts Assistant role, taking on additional finance and accounting responsibilities.
Requirements
- Previous administration experience preferred.
- Payroll experience desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in accounts administration would be an advantage.

Salary
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Pay: €21,000.00-€25,000.00 per year
