As our international operations grow, we are focused on maintaining high standards in trade compliance, documentation, and regulatory adherence across all shipments.
The Role
We are looking for a Trade Compliance & Export Coordinator to support our international shipping and compliance processes. This part-time role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics, customs, or international trade, who is looking to develop or apply their skills in a compliance-focused position.
You will play a key role in ensuring exports are processed correctly, documentation is accurate, and shipments meet Irish and EU regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review export documentation to ensure compliance with EU and international regulations
- Support product classification (e.g. TARIC codes) and maintain accurate records
- Assist with export licence applications and related documentation
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams
- Conduct basic screening checks (end-use, end-user, sanctions)
- Maintain organised records for audit and compliance purposes
- Support the improvement of internal export and compliance procedures
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs, or international trade
- Understanding of export documentation and shipping processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and documentation handling)
Desirable (but not essential)
- Exposure to export controls or trade compliance
- Familiarity with EU Dual-Use regulations or controlled goods
- Experience with product classification (TARIC/ECCN)
- Background in electronics, engineering, or technical products
Preferred Certifications (optional)
- Certificate in International Trade / Export Compliance
- Customs or freight forwarding qualifications
- Any relevant compliance or logistics certification
Pay: €28,300.00-€35,000.00 per year
