Driver/Warehouse Operative – Dunboyne
Petrochem Pipeline Supply Ltd requires a dynamic team player to join our warehouse team in Dunboyne. Full training will be given but the ideal candidate must have experience of securing heavy bulky loads, must have a full clean C licence with up-to-date CPC’s, drivers card and digital tachograph card.
Job Description:
Take primary responsibility for your truck, mobile phone, and all other Company equipment and report any defects immediately
Check your load and dockets before leaving the premises daily
Must secure vehicle on return to the yard
Make all deliveries in accordance with site instructions
Ensure that any discrepancies at delivery points (e.g., refusals, damages, shorts, extras etc) are promptly reported back to the relevant Manager
Carry out collections as directed
Be courteous and always portray a proper image to customers
Ensure you are always wearing the correct PPE
Ensure compliance with the Tachograph Control Procedure, RSA rules and Working Time Directive and declare any other work carried out outside the Company
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be prepared to carry out duties in the Warehouse when required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Operating Manual Handling Equipment
Manual Handling of stock and finished products
Working with internal computerised system
Perform warehouse duties as directed
Accurately pick, pack & dispatch orders using handheld scanners and automated picking systems (Kardex)
Maintain a clean and presentable working environment
Perform stock checks as directed
Perform all duties following quality and health & safety guidelines
Experience:
Clean C Licence
Up to date CPC’s
Can do attitude
Must be able to work as part of a team
Counterbalance/Multi-directional Forklift Licence and Experience Desirable (full training will be given to successful candidate)
Benefits:
Salary Range - 38K - 45K
Permanent Role
Working Hours: 41.5 hours per week (½ hour lunch break)
Occasional OT
23 Days Holiday per year (Closed between Christmas & New Year)
