We are seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team in Cork. The role is ideal for a skilled mechanic with experience servicing and repairing construction, agricultural, quarry, or heavy plant machinery.
Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair plant and heavy machinery.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Respond to machinery breakdowns and complete on-site repairs.
Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Mobile Plant Fitter, Agricultural Mechanic or similar.
Good mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery.
Electrical fault-finding skills are an advantage.
Full driving licence.
Ability to work independently and attend site breakdowns.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: €31,514.15-€61,150.86 per year
