About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time Orthodontic Nurse to join our friendly and professional dental team in our established specialist practice providing orthodontics in the city of Cork for many years.. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, patient-focused practice providing high-quality orthodontic care.
You will support clinicians in delivering a wide range of orthodontic treatments, including fixed appliances, removable appliances, aligner therapy, and digital scanning procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Preparation and sterilisation of instruments and equipment
- Taking impressions and digital scans (e.g., iTero or similar systems)
- Patient care, reassurance, and oral hygiene instruction
- Managing clinical records accurately and confidentially
- Ensuring compliance and cross-infection control standards
- Stock control and surgery organisation
- Supporting clinicians with treatment planning and workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience in orthodontics (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of orthodontic procedures and appliances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Pay: From €16.50 per hour

- Douglas, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
