We are seeking an internal technical sales specialist to help us promote and sell our instrumentation and consumable range of products used by analysts, scientists, engineers and technicians across a myriad of industries and applications. Primary function is to understand and support our many varied customers and their specific environmental monitoring requirements. This can only be achieved by having a genuine interest in the issue to be resolved, having the ability to resolve the issue whilst giving the customer your full attention. There will also be a significant proportion of proactive effort required to generate opportunities for sales.
Location: Our head office is based in Dublin 24. however, we provide the infrastructure that will allow the successful candidate to have flexibility in their working location.

The inside sales person will be responsible for supporting existing customers as well as developing new business within our primary markets pharmaceutical, food & beverage, education, chemical, and other appropriate sectors. Contributes to team performance by accomplishing shared tasks to achieve results as expected
Specific Duties:
- Provide sales support to our field sales and engineering teams and existing customers.
- Responding to customer enquiries received by phone/e-mail/online or any other channel.
- Participate in direct marketing activities (principally direct mail & telesales) to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
- Recording of all sales and customer engagement within the CRM system. Sales pipeline management.
- Engages with new and existing customers and key accounts exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.
- This may involve accompanying field sales personnel to site meetings if appropriate.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability :
- Territory is ALL of Ireland incl. Northern Ireland, UK & the Rest of The World
- Participate in marketing campaign planning, execution and measurement.
- Maintains an awareness of the competition by monitoring pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques or any other appropriate information.
- Continuously developing professional and technical skills/knowledge by attending in house training, factory training, educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies as appropriate.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to eliminate root causes if possible.
- Achieving sales and margin targets as set by the company.
- Meeting KPI’s maintaining appropriate customer related sales information within ProspectSoft
- This role will involve flexible working hours

Qualifications :
A third level science or business degree is desirable but not essential.
Experience Desired:
1 year working in sales or sales support role.
