The Role
We are currently looking for an Apprentice Kitchen Fitters to join our team in Kanturk and the surrounding areas. This role is a split position involving kitchen fitting and flat pack furniture assembly.
You will work across a mix of branded installations and direct customer jobs, representing Creative Fitting on site and delivering work to a high professional standard in line with company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting lead Fitter on kitchen installations including units, worktops, panels, and finishing
- Safe movement and repositioning of kitchen appliances such as cookers, ovens, dishwashers, and fridges
- Flat pack furniture assembly for kitchens and general home furniture
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company standards and client specifications
- Identifying and reporting any site issues, damages, or missing components
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment
- Communicating clearly with the scheduling and operations team
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence
- Coachable
- Strong interest in DIY
- Ability to safely move and handle kitchen appliances
- Some carpentry and installation skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and carry out assigned jobs
- Professional and courteous manner with customers
Desirable (but not essential)
- Registered Gas Installer (RGI) certification for gas appliance disconnection and reconnection (where required)
- Experience fitting IKEA or B&Q kitchens
- Experience in flat pack furniture assembly beyond kitchens
- Electrical or plumbing experience (certified where required)

- Starting Salary: €28,696 per annum
- Subsistence: Up to €7,000 per annum (in line with company policy)
