We are seeking a professional and organised Weighbridge Operator & Admin Support person to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and drivers while ensuring the accurate operation of the site weighbridges. This role combines reception and administrative duties with the recording and processing of vehicle weights and associated documentation.
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm & Friday 7.30am to 3pm
Key Responsibilities
Weighbridge Duties
- Manage weighbridges via cameras for three sites, creating tickets for goods in/out.
- Record vehicle registrations, product type, customer details, and issue tickets to drivers.
- Monitor weighbridge and camera systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Perform daily CCTV checks and submit reports to head office.
- Support crushing/Class 1 invoicing, preparing invoices based on weighbridge data.
- Handle delivery dockets, including printing, scanning, and filing.
- Register new vehicles, products, and hauliers in the weighbridge system (Precia Masterfile).
Administration Support
- Prepare weekly KPI Production Reports and Sales Production Reports.
- Update Added Value vs Target files on a daily basis.
- Assist with organising transport for orders ready for dispatch.
Reception & Customer Interaction
- Greet and assist visitors, customers, suppliers and drivers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer telephone calls and direct to the appropriate person.
- Manage visitor sign-in procedures and maintain site security protocols.
- Handle general administrative duties including handling post, filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer facing role and administration support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
- Ability to work accurately in a busy environment.
Desirable
- Experience operating a weighbridge system.
- Experience within waste management, quarrying, recycling, logistics, construction, or a similar industry.

Pay: €35,000.00 per year
