Retail Assistant for O’Connells of The Lough, Cork
O’Connells of The Lough are looking to recruit a Retail Assistant to join the team at their very busy Butcher Shop at the Lough, Cork. This is a great opportunity to join a leading brand with one of the best butchers in the city.
The successful candidates will ideally:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a retail store or supermarket.
- Have a strong knowledge of meat products and a passion for fresh food retailing is ideal but not essential.
- Be exceptionally customer focused.
Responsibilities of the position
1. Ensuring all meat and food produce are prepared and presented to the highest of standards.
2. As a key member of the Meat Processing team ensure stock is prepared and ready for sale in an efficient manner.
3. Ensuring stock control, stock rotation, proper storage and handling of all products
4. Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the store.
5. Implementing all Health & Safety and HACCP standards within the store.
