Belturbet Car Sales, Cavan, a Family run business with over 50 years’ experience are a certified Bodyshop, Car Service & Repair Centre are currently looking for an Apprentice Panel Beater /Vehicle Body Repairer to join our team.
This is a four-year apprenticeship and involves both on and off the job training.
Full time position, with immediate start and full training provided, leading to full qualification.
Candidates must have a passion for cars and a keen eye for detail and be able to complete tasks to a high standard whilst working as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Stripping damaged vehicles
- Preparing surfaces for painting and preparing vehicles for repair work
- Repairing and replace damaged vehicle panels/scratches to the highest standards.
- Ensuring compliance with established Job Card procedures.
- Use welding equipment to repair damaged metal parts.
- Communicating all potential issues in advance to the Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensuring compliance with safe working/operating practices.
Requirements:
- You will be diligent and work well under pressure.
- Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn.
- Have a passion for cars with great attention to detail.
- Be able to work well as part of a team.
- Good time keeper.
- Hold a full clean driver's licence.
- Fluent English.
