Job Description
The Still House is currently seeking friendly, energetic, and experienced bartenders, mixologists, and floor staff to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year’s experience in a similar hospitality role and a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers in a warm and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve drinks and cocktails efficiently and to a high standard.
- Verify identification to ensure compliance with legal age regulations.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide table service when required.
- Process payments quickly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and floor areas.
- Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory replenishment.
- Change kegs and prepare drink garnishes as needed.
- Ensure all company procedures and health & safety standards are followed.
- Wash and correctly store glassware.
- Report any operational issues directly to management.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong communication skills and a high standard of English.
- Good knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and classic cocktail recipes.
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS/cash register systems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying stock up to 20kg when necessary.
- A positive attitude with strong teamwork and customer service skills.
